You guys don't listen, and that's the problem! Communication is critical, but you need help getting it somewhere. It's been six months since Sky River Casino opened up, but why are we still dealing with the BASIC stuff that makes most people hate their job? Still, on the other hand, why it's so hard for the higher management to accommodate basic needs (consistent schedules, affordable benefits, more training for the staff, etc.)? Most of you opened up other properties before and got 10+ years of experience. I understand it's a new casino, and we are just opened up. Don't let us regret that we made a huge mistake coming here. We want to be sure that we made a good decision coming from our old casinos and risking everything. We are writing to the suggestion box for a reason, and we don't want to be told just a 'no.' If you want to get breakfast/lunch/dinner at the cafeteria, the lady who gives you your plate will disrespect you if you ask for more (body shaming, rude). The schedule is all over the place every week, and the guy who does the schedule doesn't care! Goodluck getting that PTO. The benefits could be better and more affordable. So many unprofessional, selfish people in one place = a total disaster.
